Our Buddhist Heritage Tours are designed for travelers who want to trace the Buddha's story through the places where it actually unfolded, from the stupas of the Kathmandu Valley to his birthplace in Lumbini. And also extended on the longer route, into the Buddhist and Gurung villages of the Annapurna foothills for some Himalayan experiences. In all trips - you will stay in comfortable hotels and monastery guest houses, travel with a private vehicle and accompanied by an English-speaking guide. The expereinces include from a hands-on thangka workshop, hiking in Annapurna foothills and to a night at monastery guest houses.

Whether you have a week to cover the Kathmandu Valley and Panauti's countryside, want to add Lumbini and a Newari cooking class in Patan, or have ten days to include a two-day walk to Poon Hill for a Himalayan sunrise, our itineraries are built around how much time you have and how much walking you want to do.
