Once you land in Kathmandu, our representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel in Thamel, around 30 minutes away. You can spend the rest of the day at your own pace, exploring the lively streets of Thamel, with cafes and restaurants close to the hotel. At 5pm, we hold an introductory meeting where you'll meet your tour leader and fellow travelers, along with helpful tips for the days ahead. The evening is free to enjoy Thamel's nightlife.

    After breakfast, you'll drive about 30 minutes to Pashupatinath Temple, one of the most sacred Hindu shrines in the world, where you can observe traditional rituals along the Bagmati River. From there, a short drive brings you to Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest Buddhist stupas in the world, where you can enjoy a coffee break with panoramic views, walk around the stupa, and visit nearby Tibetan monasteries. Next, you'll drive about 30 minutes to Swayambhunath, also known as the Monkey Temple, where a short climb rewards you with panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley. Your afternoon continues at Kathmandu Durbar Square, home to the Kumari Temple, Kasthamandap, and the historic Hanuman Dhoka Palace, followed by a traditional rickshaw ride through the old markets of Ason and Indra Chowk.
