The Kailash Yatra with avalaibility to join a group for 2027 is an opportunity for individual and small group travellers to share costs and yet make the lifetime journey to Mount Kailash in 2027. The Holy Kailash Tour is a 10 day group pilgrimage journey from Kathmandu to Mount Kailash and Lake Manasarovar through the Kyirung border. The journey combines high altitude road travel across the Tibetan plateau with an acclimatization day in Kyirung and the sacred Kailash Parikrama.
The Parikrama is completed over two trekking days, from Darchen to Dirapuk and then from Dirapuk to Zuthulpuk, before the group drives back through Saga and Kyirung to Kathmandu. This is a fixed departure group tour on a twin sharing basis with meals on a bed and breakfast plan, designed for pilgrims who want a complete Kailash experience within a compact 10 day window.

Itinerary Overview
This 10 day Holy Kailash Tour begins with a drive from Kathmandu to Kyirung, followed by a dedicated acclimatization day with an optional hike toward Milarepa Cave and surrounding areas. The journey then continues across the Tibetan plateau to Saga and Paryang before reaching Lake Manasarovar. After visiting the sacred Lake Manasarovar, the group continues to Darchen, the starting point of the Kailash Parikrama. The Parikrama begins with the trek to Dirapuk and continues to Zuthulphuk before the group completes the route and returns by road to Saga, Kyirung and Kathmandu.

Day 1: Drive from Kathmandu to Kyirung and overnight at a hotel.
Day 2: Rest and acclimatization in Kyirung with a hike toward Milarepa Cave and the surrounding areas.
Day 3: Drive from Kyirung to Saga at approximately 4,450 m, covering around 232 km, with an overnight stay at a hotel.
Day 4: Drive from Saga through Paryang at approximately 4,558 m to Lake Manasarovar at around 4,600 m. The journey covers approximately 507 km and takes around 8 to 9 hours. Overnight at a guesthouse.
Day 5: Drive approximately 40 km from Lake Manasarovar to Darchen at approximately 14,975 ft (4,565 m) and prepare for the Kailash Parikrama. Overnight at a guesthouse.
Day 6: Begin the Kailash Parikrama with a 15 km trek from the Darchen area to Dirapuk at approximately 5,000 m. The trek takes around 7 hours. Overnight at a guesthouse.
Day 7: Trek from Dirapuk to Zuthulphuk, covering approximately 18 km in 6 to 7 hours, with around 550 m ascent and 600 m descent. Overnight at a local guesthouse.
Day 8: Complete the Kailash Parikrama and drive to Saga for an overnight stay at a hotel.
Day 9: After breakfast, drive from Saga to Kyirung and overnight at a hotel.
Day 10: Drive from Kyirung to the Nepal Tibet border, complete immigration formalities, and continue to Kathmandu.

Accommodation and Meals
You will stay in hotels in Kyirung and Saga, and in guesthouses at Lake Mansarovar, Darchen, Dirapuk and Zuthulpuk, as these remote sections of the route do not have hotel infrastructure. The standard meal plan is breakfast and breakfast basis. Lunch and dinner are excluded from the standard package. If a full board option is selected, lunch and dinner can be provided at local restaurants according to availability along the route.
