Bhutan Treks are guided Himalayan trekking holidays that explore the country's mountain landscapes, alpine lakes, forest trails, remote valleys and traditional Bhutanese culture. Our Bhutan trekking packages include the Druk Path Trek, a classic route between Paro and Thimphu, and the Jomolhari Loop Trek, which leads to Jomolhari Base Camp at Jangothang inside Jigme Dorji National Park. Every trek starts in Paro, with an experienced local guide, a trekking crew and all camping arrangements looked after for you.
Choose the trek that fits your time and fitness. The 7 day Druk Path Trek is the shorter option, with four days of trekking and four nights of camping, reaching about 4,200 m at its highest point before ending in Thimphu. The 10 day Jomolhari Trek is a strenuous high altitude trek with six nights of camping. It goes to Jomolhari Base Camp, crosses three high passes up to about 4,890 m and ends in Thimphu. Both treks include sightseeing in Paro and Thimphu, such as Kyichu Lhakhang, the National Museum, Tiger’s Nest Monastery, Tashichho Dzong and the Buddha Dordenma statue.
We give you clear advice and honest information before you book, and every package shows what is included and what is not. Our local team knows these trails, camps and seasons well, and your guide checks the pace and the weather each day, so safety and comfort come first. With careful arrangements and one team you can rely on from your first message to your last day, you can enjoy the mountains and learn about Bhutan beyond the main tourist route.
