This 5 day hike follows the eastern rim of the Kathmandu Valley. You drive from Kathmandu to Panauti, explore the old town, and hike to Balthali. The next day you walk to Namobudha Monastery, one of the important Buddhist sites near Kathmandu. On Day 3 you hike to Dhulikhel, and on Day 4 you continue to Nagarkot, a well known viewpoint on the valley rim. On the last day you hike toward Bhaktapur, explore the city, and drive back to Kathmandu.

After lunch on your own, your private vehicle takes you back to Kathmandu, where the trip comes to an end.
