Detail Itinerary

Day 1Arrive Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel. We meet you at the airport with your name on board/paper and transfer to hotel, 20 min drive. Overnight at Traditional Inn at Patan Durbar Square.

Day 2Full day Patan and Bungmati-Khokana village sightseeing. Breakfast at the hotel. We start our exploration of the ancient Patan heritages of Patan from Patan Durbar square. Our expert cultural tour guide will escort you through Patan Durbar square, golden temple, thousand buddha temple and other surrounding heritages. The main heritage sites in Patan Durbar square are; Patan Durbar Square, Patan Museum, Krishna Mandir, Mahabouddha, Hiaranya Varna Mahaa Vihar, Kumbeshwor Temple, Jagatnarayan Temple, Rudra Varna Mahavira, The Ashokan Stupas, Achheswor Mahavihar, and Temple of Machchendranath.
After lunch, transfer to Bungmati and khokana village, 45min drive. Explore the medieval town of Bungmati and khokana. Observe the traditional lifestyle of Newari people in Khokana and Bungmati village. Drive to Bhaktapur for Overnight. Overnight at Peacock guest house or Hotel Heritage in Bhaktapur.

Day 3Morning Breakfast and Explore Bhaktapur heritages. Morning Breakfast at the hotel and explore Bhaktapur. Follow your heritage walk of Bhaktapur with our expert and friendly guide and explore the most uniquely built and preserved heritages of Bhaktapur. The main tour sites in Bhaktapur Durbar square are Dattatraya Square, Taumadhi square, pottery square and main square. The main attractions are 55 window Palace, Dattatraya temple, Nyatopola temple and statues of Ugrachandi and Bhairav. Full day exploration of the Bhaktapur. Overnight at same hotel.

Day 4Breakfast and explore the Changunarayan temple. Overnight at Nagarkot. Morning Breakfast at the hotel and visit Changunarayan temple. It is open museum of the ancient stone statues in Kathmandu valley. Changu temple, considered to be the oldest standing temple in Kathmandu valley, was built in 5th century.
After Changu temple, drive to Nagarkot and relax with great Himalayan views. Overnight at Club Himalaya Nagarkot.

Day 5Sunrise and Himalayas Views. Breakfast and Kathmandu Sightseeing.Early morning sunrise views and views of the Himalayas from your hotel room. Breakfast and at 10am drive to Pashupati Nath temple and Bouddhanath Stupa. Explore the most worshipped hindu temple Pashupatinath in Kathmandu. Pashupatinath temple surrounding has over 700 temples within its territory. And observe the crematoria, the death ritual of Hindu people. After this, transfer to Bouddhanath, 10min drive. Explore Bouddhanath Stupa and surrounding monasteries. Bouddhanath Stupa is one of the largest stupa of its kind in the world. Overnight at Kathmandu.

Day 6Morning Breakfast, Kathmandu Sightseeing and departure. Breakfast at hotel. Explore the old Kathmandu including old grocery market Ason, Indrachowk, Kathmandu Durbar square, Kumari Ghar surroundings. Afterwards, drive to Swayambhunath temple, 15min drive. Swayambhunath temple is also known as monkey temple. This ancient buddhist temple is located on top of a small hill in centre (west) Kathmandu. From here we drive you to the Airport 3 hours before your flight time. We will adjust the tour hours according to your flight time.
