Trip Preparations
  • Do I need a visa to visit Nepal?

Yes, almost everyone needs a visa to enter Nepal, except Indian passport holders, who can enter completely free, no visa needed. You can grab a visa on arrival at the airport, or apply online beforehand to save time. Just carry a passport photo and enough cash for the visa fee, which is usually around $30.

  • Autumn (September to November) and spring (March to May) are the best times to visit. The skies are clear, the weather is pleasant, and you get amazing mountain views during sunrise spots like Sarangkot and Nagarkot. Winter is also good and quieter, though mornings can feel a bit chilly, especially at higher points.

  • Yes, this trip is quite easy-going and works well for families and older travelers too. The altitude stays low throughout, drives are comfortable, and most activities are optional, so nobody feels forced into anything too tiring. Hotels are also comfortable 4-star properties, which makes the whole experience relaxed and stress-free for everyone.

  • Nothing too demanding here. Most days involve light walking during sightseeing, like temple visits or town walks, plus a few optional hikes such as the one at Peace Stupa in Pokhara. If walking isn't your thing, you can usually just drive to these spots instead. It's a relaxed pace, not a trekking trip.

  • Breakfast is included every day at your hotel. In Chitwan, all your meals, breakfast, lunch, and dinner, are covered too. However, lunch and dinner in Kathmandu and Pokhara are not included, so you'll need to pay separately for those, usually around $10 per meal depending on where you eat.

  • You'll be staying in comfortable 4-star hotels throughout your trip. In Kathmandu, it's Hotel Mulberry, in Pokhara you'll enjoy lakeside stays at Temple Bell or Temple Himalaya Hotel, and in Chitwan, you'll relax at Hotel Green Park. Every hotel offers a cozy, clean stay with breakfast included daily.

  • Yes, the jeep safari is completely safe and led by trained, experienced guides who know the park well. You'll travel in groups with proper safety measures in place. While spotting a tiger isn't guaranteed since they're shy animals, you'll very likely see rhinos, deer, birds, and other wildlife along the way.

  • While it's not officially required, having travel insurance is highly recommended for peace of mind. It helps cover things like trip cancellations, lost luggage, or unexpected medical needs during your trip. Since some activities involve hiking and safaris, it's smart to make sure your insurance also covers general outdoor activities.

  • Yes, the itinerary is flexible and can easily be adjusted around your flight schedule. For example, if you're flying out early in the morning, the trip can be rearranged so your last night is spent closer to the airport instead of in Nagarkot. Just let your travel agent know in advance.
