    Heading west, the journey takes you to Sarangkot for breathtaking sunrises over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. From Ghodepani, you’ll hike up to Poon Hill (3,210m), one of the best mountain viewpoints in the world. The trip continues to Jomsom and Muktinath, where Hindu and Buddhist traditions meet in sacred temples and monasteries.

    In Pokhara, a calm lakeside city, you’ll enjoy boat rides, caves, waterfalls, and views from hilltops like the World Peace Pagoda and Pumdikot’s Shiva Statue. A stop at Bandipur lets you walk through old streets filled with traditional Newari architecture while taking in amazing mountain views.

    Next, you’ll explore the jungles of Chitwan National Park, Nepal’s first national park and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.     On your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Your tour leader will meet you at the hotel at 5 pm. If you reach there early, you can also experience the beauty of tourist hub Thamel. In the evening, attend a welcome traditional Nepali dinner (Dal Bhat).

      Exploring the Ancient Arts/Architecture & Spirituality of Kathmandu- visit Patan, Baudhnath and Pashupatinath (1300-1400m) After breakfast, you will be driven on a full-day cultural sightseeing tour. On this day, you will visit 3 UNESCO World Heritage Site Patan Darbar Square, Pashupatinath Temple and Baudhnath Stupa. Patan Durbar Square: City of fine arts, also a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its exquisite Newari architecture, ancient palaces, and intricate metal/wood carvings. Boudhanath Stupa: one of the largest spherical stupas in the world from 5th century. Enjoy spinning the prayers wheels, explore few monasteries roof top for the spectacular view and photograph of Stupa. On top of the roof restaurant could also be the best option for your lunch. Pashupatinath Temple: the most sacred Hindu temple in Nepal, located on the banks of the Bagmati River. Observe Sadhus (holy men) and the continuous cycle of life and death (crematoria) from the opposite bank. This temple has more than 1500 monuments including the main temple.

        On this day, you will experience the most preserved Newari medieval town Panauti, also a UNESCO tentative site. Explore the ancient Indreshwor Mahadev Temple and its serene surroundings. Continue to Namobuddha, a sacred Buddhist site believed to be where a prince (a previous incarnation of Buddha) offered his body to a starving tigress. Visit the stunning monastery, participate in a Puja (prayer ceremony) around 11am with the monks, and feel a profound sense of peace. After this beautiful experience, you will transfer to the hotel, check in have an organic Nepali lunch at the hotel. In the evening a short hike offers stunning sunset views over the rolling hills and distant Himalayas.

On this day after reaching Bhaktapur, first check in to the hotel and visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square, open museum of medieval art and architecture is another UNESCO gem. Marvel at the towering Nyatapola Temple (a five-story pagoda), the magnificent 55 Window Palace, and the fascinating Pottery Square where artisans work on traditional wheels.               A short drive brings you to Gorkha, the ancestral home of the legendary Gurkha warriors and King Prithvi Narayan Shah. Climb the steep steps (or take a short drive) up to the magnificent Gorkha Durbar (Palace) and the adjacent Kalika Temple. The palace offers a fascinating museum and panoramic views of the Himalayas. You will get information about the 18th-century campaign that unified Nepal into a single kingdom.

                Today's scenic drive follows the Trishuli and Marsyangdi rivers towards Pokhara city. Instead of stopping in town, you'll ascend to Sarangkot, a village perched on a mountain ridge. As the afternoon sun softens, prepare for a spectacular sunset over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Mountain ranges—a truly unforgettable panorama.

                  After a glorious sunrise at Sarangkot our journey descends to the valley floor and begins a bit long but beautiful drive north into the foothills. The road winds through scenic villages and vast forests of rhododendron (which blaze with color in spring). Arrive at Ghodepani, a charming village inhabited by the Gurung and Magar communities. This is a chance to experience simple mountain life. The lodge is basic but warm, offering an authentic Himalayan stay.

                    Early morning around 4-4:30am Pre-dawn, embark on a 45-minute hike to Poon Hill (3,210m). Your effort is rewarded with one of the world's most magnificent sunrise views, illuminating the peaks of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), and more. (Alternative: Enjoy a beautiful sunrise view directly from your hotel for those not hiking). After breakfast, begin the long but incredibly scenic drive through the Kali Gandaki Gorge (the world's deepest) to Jomsom, the windy capital of the Mustang region. The landscape transforms into a dramatic, arid high desert.

                      On this day we will take a jeep excursion to Muktinath (3,800m), a sacred site for both Hindus and Buddhists. Hindus believe bathing under the 108 waterspouts here brings salvation. Visit the ancient temple and the Jwala Mai Temple with its eternal flame. Explore the nearby Narsingh Gompa. On the return, stop at Kagbeni, a medieval village that is the gateway to Upper Mustang. Explore its narrow alleys, ancient monastery, and apple orchards (famous for local cider and brandy).

                        Enjoy a final view of the stark Mustang landscape before the drive back to Pokhara. Today will long drive direct to Pokhara. After reaching to Pokhara we can relax at the hotel or can take a boat ride on Phewa Lake to the Tal Barahi Temple, stroll along the vibrant Lakeside market, or simply enjoy a coffee with stunning lake and mountain views depending on how you feel.

                          Explore the natural and cultural highlights of Pokhara. Visit Davis Falls, a unique waterfall that descends into a deep gorge, and the sacred Gupteshwor Cave opposite it. Drive up to the World Peace Pagoda for breathtaking views of the lake, city, and mountains. You can also visit the golden statue of Shiva at Pumdikot. For adventure seekers, optional activities like paragliding, ultralight flights, or ziplining are available.

                            Drive to the beautifully preserved Newari town of Bandipur, perched on a hilltop. This traffic free town offers a glimpse into 18th-century Nepal. Check into a heritage inn and explore the cobbled streets, ornate windows, and temples like the Khadga Devi Temple. Late afternoon we will explore Tindhara pilgrimage site with its three water spouts, visit Stupa and walk to Tundikhel, the historic parade ground, for a spectacular sunset over the Himalayas.

                              Chitwan National Park (300m) Those who can hike early morning to Thanimai Temple for sunrise and himalay and hills panoramic views can join to the group. After breakfast, descend to the lowlands (Terai) and drive to Chitwan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After checking into your jungle resort, you'll receive a briefing on the program. In the afternoon, embark on an exciting jeep safari deep into the park in search of wildlife like the One-horned rhinoceros, deer, monkeys, crocodiles, and if you're incredibly lucky, the elusive Bengal tiger. Or we go for conoe ride depending on the hotel’s activities schedule.

                                A full day of jungle immersion. Start with a canoe ride on the Rapti River, a great opportunity for bird watching and spotting marsh mugger crocodiles. Enjoy a nature walk with your naturalist guide and visit a local Tharu village to learn about their unique culture and traditions. In the evening, we will enjoy performance of the Tharu cultural dance.

                                  Enjoy one last breakfast in the jungle before the scenic drive back to Kathmandu. The road follows the Trishuli River, offering beautiful river views. We will regroup for an optional farewell dinner to celebrate an incredible journey through Nepal.

                                    On your final day, take a guided walking tour of Kathmandu Durbar Square, exploring the old royal palace, the Kumari Ghar (living goddess's home), and the bustling ancient squares. The afternoon is free for any last-minute souvenir shopping in Thamel. At the appointed time, you will be transferred to Tribhuvan International Airport for your departure flight, filled with lifelong memories.

On the way visit Panauti (15th century old Indreshwor Mahadev Temple) UNESCO tentative site, a medieval architectural Newari Preserved village. Visit Namobuddha Monastery and participate in the Pooja ritual, celebration with Monks (sacred Buddhist pilgrimage site). Lunchtime at the hotel. In the evening short hike around the monastery. Sunset views over the hills. We can also see the beautiful Himalaya on the northern side on a clear day.

                                      Best Time to Travel

                                      The ideal seasons for this 17-day journey are autumn (September–November) and spring (March–May). During these months, the skies are clear, offering spectacular Himalayan views, and temperatures are moderate. Winter (December–February) is also suitable for cultural exploration, though mountain regions can be chilly but a bit cold in the mountain.

                                      Altitude & Acclimatization

                                      This tour ranges from the lowlands of Chitwan at 150–300m to Muktinath at 3,800m. Although it does not involve high-altitude trekking, some days (like Ghodepani–Poon Hill and Muktinath) reach significant elevations. Walks are designed for gradual adjustment, and anyone of average f itness can join. Staying hydrated, walking at a steady pace, and resting when needed will ensure comfort.

                                      Throughout the trip, you’ll stay in a mix of: Comfort hotels in Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Chitwan. Heritage properties such as The Famous Farm in Nuwakot and The Old Inn in Bandipur. Mountain lodges in Sarangkot (the best one), Ghodepani, and Jomsom, offering simplicity with warmth and authentic Himalayan hospitality.

                                      Transportation

                                      The tour uses a combination of private vehicles for comfort and jeeps in mountain and safari areas. Road journeys showcase Nepal’s changing geography, from winding hilly roads to flat Terai landscapes. Drives may be long but are scenic, with rest stops at local tea houses. Some places the road may not be smooth.

                                      Meals

                                      Daily breakfasts are included. Some days feature organic farm-to-table lunches and dinners (Namobuddha, Nuwakot, Chitwan, Ghodepani). Cuisine ranges from traditional Nepali Dal Bhat to fresh local dishes and international options in cities. Vegetarian, vegan, and special diets can be accommodated with prior notice.

                                      Cultural Etiquette

                                      Nepal is rich in both Hindu and Buddhist traditions. Visitors requested to dress modestly when visiting temples and monasteries. Shoes somewhere inside the temple and monasteries must be removed before entering. Photography of people, especially sadhus and locals in rural villages, should always be respectful and preferably taken with permission.

                                      No special vaccinations are required, but consult your doctor before travel. Carry personal medicines and a basic first-aid kit. Bottled or filtered water or purification pill is recommended throughout the journey. Travel insurance covering medical and trip interruptions is strongly advised.
